On 9th March 2022, the 2nd Innovation Day was organized by PASHA Holding.
The purpose of the event was to organize an opportunity for PASHA Group employees to hear from Global Thought Leaders about Innovation Best Practices and the importance of Intrapreneurship.
Around 100 employees from different businesses joined the sessions hosted by two well-known keynote speakers – Dr. George Day and Dr. Robert C. Wolcott.
Dr. George S. Day spoke about the full spectrum approach to finding and choosing the best innovation opportunities. He also talked about the “Working Backwards” signature Amazon approach to assessing all their innovation initiatives.
Dr. Robert C. Wolcott talked about the “Moment of Proximity” and how emerging technologies and new business models enable companies to produce and provide products and services ever closer to the moment of demand.
George S. Day, PhD

George S. Day is the Geoffrey T. Boisi Professor, Professor of Marketing, and co-Director of the Mack Institute for Innovation Management at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He was previously the Executive Director of the Marketing Science Institute. He has been a consultant to numerous corporations such as General Electric, IBM, Metropolitan Life, Unilever, E.I. DuPont de Nemours, W.L. Gore and Associates, Coca-Cola, Boeing, LG Corp., Best Buy, Merck, Johnson & Johnson, and Medtronic. He is the past chairman of the American Marketing Association. Dr. Day has authored eighteen books in the areas of marketing and strategic management. He has won ten best article awards and one best book award, and two of his articles were judged to be among the top 25 most influential articles in marketing science in the past 25 years. He was honored with the Charles Coolidge Parlin Award in 1994, the Paul D. Converse Award in 1996, the Sheth Foundation award in 2003, and the Mahajan Award for career contributions to strategy in 2001. In 2003 he received the AMA/Irwin/McGraw-Hill Distinguished Marketing Educator Award. In 2011 he was chosen as one of eleven “Legends in Marketing.”
Robert C. Wolcott, PhD

Robert C. Wolcott is an Adjunct Professor of innovation and entrepreneurship at the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago, and the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, as well as a Dean’s Faculty Fellow at the McCormick School of Engineering at Northwestern. He also co-founded and serve as chair of the World Innovation Network (TWIN), a community of innovation leaders from over 30 countries. Dr. Wolcott was recognized as teacher of the year for Kellogg’s EMBA program in 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2017. He is also cofounder and managing partner at Clareo, a growth strategy consultancy serving global corporations. Furthermore, Dr. Wolcott is an angel investor in over 20 companies including Indiegogo, Lumni, Page Vault, MagicCube.co, SPH Analytics, Abroad.io, ClearCare Online (exited to Battery Ventures) and international art show, EXPO Chicago. He earned a B.A. in European and Chinese history and an M.S. and Ph.D. in industrial engineering and management science from Northwestern University.
