Doron Pe’er – Deputy Chief of Mission, Israel Embassy in Azerbaijan.

Two great speakers - Doron Pe'er and Dr.Philipp Gneiting, had an interesting keynote speeches and share their own experience in Innovation. Doron shared valuable insights into the thriving innovation ecosystem in Israel and highlighted the future trends that are driving innovation. His presentation was informative, engaging, and thought-provoking, and we are grateful for his contribution to our event. Dr. Gneiting's presentation focused on the innovation imperative and the importance of embracing a culture of failure to drive progress and success. He shared valuable insights and examples from his extensive experience working with innovative companies across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Doron Pe’er - Joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2019 and served as an innovation officer in the Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Technology Department - Economic Division. Prior to his service at the MFA he served as councilor in the field of International Humanitarian Law, practiced Civil law several law firms in Jerusalem, and the in the Legal Division of the Israel Nature and Parks Authority. He was also a research assistant and assistant lecturer in the courses "International Relations in the Twentieth Century" and "Introduction to International Law. Prior to his service at the MFA he served as councilor in the field of International Humanitarian Law, practiced Civil law several law firms in Jerusalem, and the in the Legal Division of the Israel Nature and Parks Authority.

Philipp Gneiting – Director Partner Success EMEA at Plug and Play, former Head of Open Innovation and Customer Insights at Mercedes-Benz AG.

Dr. Philipp Gneiting is a seasoned business leader and innovation expert who has made a significant impact in the automotive industry. He currently serves as the Director of Partner Open Innovation Services at Plug and Play Tech Center. Gneiting previously served as the Head of Open Innovation and Customer Insights at Mercedes-Benz AG, where he led the company's efforts to identify and adopt new technologies and business models to enhance its products and services.

After the speakers' presentations, there was a short quiz, and innovative gifts was awarded to the winner, Nargiz Alibeyova from PASHA Bank. We believe this will be a fantastic opportunity for our employees to learn from experts, share their experiences, and connect with like-minded individuals.
