JB Straubel, co-founder of Tesla, is heading to Baku for the upcoming InMerge Innovation Summit, one of the region's most prominent innovation events. Straubel, who initially joined Tesla in 2004 as its fifth employee, has played a significant role in the electric vehicle giant's journey, ultimately becoming its first Chief Technology Officer. Holding degrees in energy systems engineering and energy engineering, Straubel co-founded Redwood Materials in 2017, focusing on the recycling of lithium-ion batteries. He currently serves as the CEO of the company.
