Recently, taking into account the importance of AI-based solutions and the gifts they can bring to the development of various sectors, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) and the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport (MDT) signed a memorandum of understanding to create an Artificial Intelligence Alliance.

According to the information, the main purpose of signing the document is to support projects, initiatives, and ideas in the field of artificial intelligence in our country. This includes the implementation of joint projects in financial markets, organization of events to develop skills, technologies, ecosystems, infrastructure, and management mechanisms in the field of artificial intelligence, aiming to position Azerbaijan as a regional leader in artificial intelligence.

Within the framework of this collaboration, measures will be taken to attract AI-based startups and companies to Azerbaijan, promote AI-based innovations in various sectors, and establish partnerships with leading organizations to enhance solutions and skills in this field. Additionally, matters such as relevant training, seminars, and conferences will be prioritized to increase knowledge in the field of artificial intelligence.

Furthermore, it is worth noting that the Minister of Digital Development and Transport, Rashad Nabiyev, announced this collaboration on his social media account. The minister stated, "We signed a Memorandum of Agreement with Taleh Kazimov, the Chairman of the Central Bank, on the creation of the Artificial Intelligence Alliance. The goal is to meet the growing demand for professionals in this field, provide experience exchange for interested parties, and encourage resource mobilization in the field."
