The InMerge Innovation Summit, organized by PAŞA Holding, brought together tech pioneers, leading companies, and innovative startups in Baku. Over two days, the event fostered insightful discussions, idea exchange, and showcased the potential of Azerbaijan and the region in shaping the future of the tech ecosystem.

Additionally, during the first day of the event, within the framework of the summit, the opening featured speeches by Rovshan Nabiyev, Minister of Digital Development and Transport, Elnur Aliyev, Deputy Minister of Economy, Shahmar Movsumov, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Erdem Inan, CEO of Trendyol. Following their speeches, an exciting presentation took place, and Steve Wozniak greeted everyone. During his speech, he shared stories from his school engineering successes, his acquaintance with Steve Jobs, and anecdotes from the early days of Apple.

In addition, PAŞA Holding gathered participants from various countries in financial technologies and telecommunications verticals, as well as in training. One of the significant events within the framework of the summit was the signing of the "Memorandum of Agreement for Cooperation for the Development of the Innovation and Startup Ecosystem in the Republic of Azerbaijan." The memorandum was signed by Farrukh Aliyev, Director of the Innovation Department of PAŞA Holding, Fariz Jafarov, Executive Director of the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4CIM) under the Ministry of Economy, Elnur Nasibov, Chairman of the Education Development Fund of the Ministry of Education, Inara Valiyeva, Acting President of the Innovation and Digital Development Agency of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, and Kenan Najafov, Vice President of SOCAR.

The "InMerge Innovation Summit," organized by "PAŞA Holding," unfolded over two days, with its grand opening on November 30. Jalal Gasimov, the CEO of PAŞA Holding, welcomed participants, underlining the summit's core objectives. He emphasized the priority of supporting the innovation ecosystem in the country and the region, expressing confidence that the summit would make a substantial contribution to this objective.

The summit's aim is to bring together leading individuals and companies in the technology sector, along with innovation-focused startups in Baku, providing them with opportunities for professional discussions, idea exchange, and experience sharing. This collaborative effort contributes to the formation and development of the innovation ecosystem in Azerbaijan and the broader region.

On the first day of the summit, key figures and companies in the tech industry engaged in discussions about the future of intelligent ecosystems. Erdem Inan, CEO of Trendyol, Farid Mammadov, Deputy Executive Director of PAŞA Holding, Chris Barton, the founder of "Shazam," and Roman Lavrentev, COO of "Uzum," took the stage. Chris Barton shared insights on founding "Shazam" and discussed how others could achieve similar success.

The summit also featured discussions and workshops on digitization and e-commerce. Startups from various countries presented their ideas, adding a diverse perspective to the event. Toward the end, the Innovation and Digital Development Agency presented awards to startups. The winner of the "INBattle" startup competition received a $15,000 prize from "PAŞA Holding."

The "InMerge Innovation Summit" concluded its second day with the participation of more than 3,000 individuals, emphasizing its significant importance for Azerbaijan and the region. The summit showcased the commitment to supporting innovation ecosystems and startups and encouraging collaboration for their development.
