Baku, June 28, AZERTAC – The Center for Sustainable Development hosted a presentation organized by the Education Development Foundation with the support of "VISA" international payment technologies company. The event showcased the initiative to create a unified student card system in universities for the leadership of higher education institutions.
During the event, representatives from nine universities, closely collaborating with the Foundation under the Ministry of Education and Science, participated. Elnur Nasibov, the chairman of the Foundation's Board, highlighted that a collaboration agreement with "VISA" was signed in March this year in Baku during the "Visa Cashless Forum 2024 – Digital Azerbaijan" event, aiming to improve the socio-economic welfare of university students through various projects.
The presentation included a discussion led by "VISA"'s digital experience and education activities manager, Anton Kuchma, who shared research results among students and outlined the benefits the new student cards would offer in facilitating extracurricular activities. A Q&A session concluded the presentation, addressing potential challenges and collaborative solutions within this initiative.
