#Local

"60 graduating students successfully completed all stages from among more than 2,000 applicants in November of last year, and earned tuition fees at AKM."

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, in collaboration with the Innovation and Digital Development Agency and Israel's Technion Institute of Technology, hosted the third "Graduation Day" of the Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Center. The event saw participation from the Israeli Ambassador to Azerbaijan, George Deek, representatives from various private and public institutions, and students from the latest training cohort. Deputy Minister Samir Mammadov and other officials highlighted the center's role in strengthening the country's cybersecurity environment.

Sixty students graduated from the center after being selected from over 2,000 applicants last November. The students, ranging in age from 17 to over 40, were trained by international experts in both defense (Blue Team) and attack (Red Team) groups. They gained practical knowledge in cutting-edge cybersecurity strategies, technologies, and innovations. During the graduation ceremony, students presented their projects in cybersecurity, and top performers were recognized with awards.

To date, 120 students have graduated from the Azerbaijan Cybersecurity Center, with 72% securing employment in the private and public sectors. The event concluded with the presentation of graduation certificates to the 60 new graduates by official guests.
